About the role
What you will be doing
We are seeking experienced Senior Mining Engineers (Underground) for permanent positions with our Contracting Division. Working within client operations across Western Australia, you will provide senior-level production engineering and mine planning support in FIFO arrangements, with the autonomy to lead and improve how the mine plans and produces.
You will work alongside site leadership teams and mentor developing engineers, backed by our Perth-based consulting team and a culture built on Quality First, Professional Growth, Respect, Integrity and Ownership.

The work
Key responsibilities
- Deliver senior-level mining engineering support at operating mine sites
- Lead short and medium-term mine planning activities
- Develop and maintain practical production schedules and mining sequences
- Support daily production engineering and drill and blast activities
- Review and optimise mine plans, schedules and operational processes
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
- Provide technical advice to site leadership teams
- Mentor graduate and developing engineers
- Contribute to statutory compliance requirements
- Promote safe, efficient and sustainable mining practices
About you
Your qualifications & experience
- Bachelor degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years' mining engineering experience
- Experience in open pit, underground or both environments
- Strong production engineering and operational experience
- Mine planning and scheduling expertise using Deswik or similar software
- Sound understanding of mining methods, operational constraints and safety systems
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capability
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Current C-Class driver's licence
- Full Australian working rights
